Yearbook Distribution

For our Face2Face students, yearbooks will be distributed at school by each teacher.
For our Virtual students, the yearbook committee will email students' parents/guardians when they are available for pickup at the front desk at Bethany.
If you do not receive your yearbook by the time school is out, you can contact Emmie @ yearbook@bethanypta.org to arrange for pick up over the summer.

Hello Bethany Families!
We have two budget items that need to be approved before the next scheduled GMM on May 20th.
According to our By-Laws:
These are the two items we will be voting on.
Item 1 - 5th Grade EOY celebrations POW - Since the Picasso Art fundraising was never a line item on a POW for 2020-21, a budget for it was never approved, so we need to approve this POW in order for the parents to do a write a check campaign to fund raise for their EOY celebrations. Note: The 540 is inclusive of the $400 that has already been approved for the class parties. See this link:

Item 2 - Amended Hospitality POW - Teacher Appreciate Breakfast - For Teacher Appreciation week, we will be providing a Breakfast Taco bar on Monday, a staff luncheon on Wednesday, and a snack / soda volunteer sign up like we did in the winter. To accommodate the expenses of the Breakfast Taco bar, we need an extra $300 added to the budget. We have done so little for the staff this year, I'd love if we're able to approve this. Get ready to light up the night at our 2025 Glow Run — a fun event celebrating Bethany PTA’s annual fundraising efforts!
Event Details:
Date: Friday, December 5, 2025 @ 6:00-7:00 PM
Location: Bethany Elementary Parking Lot
Cost: Free! All students are invited to join.
Run with us on a lighted track and enjoy a night filled with energy, color, and community spirit!
What is the Glow Run?
The Glow Run combines our yearly PTA fundraiser with a fun, healthy school-wide event. From October 20th thru November 21st students can ask friends and family to support their school by donating through their personal fundraising pages.
Then, on December 5th, we’ll celebrate together at the Glow Run! Students are encouraged to wear bright colors and glowing accessories as they run, laugh, and cheer under the lights.
How do I fundraise?
We’ve made it simple! Families can create a quick and unique fundraising page on FundHub to start collecting donations.
This event supports our school while promoting fun, fitness, and community. We can’t wait to see everyone glowing and running for a great cause!

All parents who want to volunteer or attend classroom parties, special daytime school events (like the Book Fair) must submit a new background check for this school year. The volunteer application/background check can be completed at plano.voly.org.
