Dear Bethany Parents:

As the new school year begins, I’d like to inform you of a parent volunteer opportunity to serve as a member of our School-Based Improvement Committee (SBIC). The committee is composed of parents, staff, and community members and meets three times during the school year. The primary goal is to assist in planning and reviewing Bethany’s Campus Improvement Plan. Each Campus Improvement Plan is developed to improve student achievement at the campus level. The three meetings will take place in the Bethany Library at 3:30 p.m. on August 27^th, January 28^th,  and May 6th and are approximately 30 minutes long.

If you are interested in being on our SBIC, please complete this form  2026-2027 SBIC Volunteer Committee Form  by Monday, August 24th. Once we have collected the forms, we will reach out to those who have volunteered to let them know if they were selected to be on the committee.  Our first meeting will be held on Thursday, August 27^th  at 3:30 in the Bethany Library.
