Bethany Builders Robotics Club
* Bethany School Sponsored Program
The Bethany Robotics Club is sponsored by Mrs. Forbes, a third grade teacher at Bethany.
We are excited to announce that applications are now open for the Bethany Builders Robotics Club! This club gives students in grades 4–5 the opportunity to work together as part of a FIRST LEGO League team. Students will design, build, program LEGO robots and complete an Innovation Project Presentation while learning teamwork, perseverance, and problem-solving skills.
The club will meet every Monday from 3:00–4:30 pm, beginning September 28th and running through December. Because robotics requires collaboration and the use of limited equipment, space is limited. All club dates are mandatory. In addition, students will participate in two Saturday training/competition events: November 14th and either December 5th or 12th (TBD). Students will be selected based on their applications, teacher input, and the need to create balanced teams.
Please register by Wednesday, September 23rd
